How do we get started?
To begin consultation towards any package you may be interested in, please call or send us an email, found on the "Contact Us" page. We will get in touch with you shortly after to get the ball rolling!
How long can my broadcast be?
The typical timeframe includes 2 hours of broadcast for a ceremony and 4 hours for ceremony and reception. However, we are open to working with all of our client’s needs, so feel free to talk to us about what you're special day calls for and we would be happy to find a solution!
Can you stream an outdoor or destination wedding? What if our venue has no Internet connection?
Absolutely! We have wireless Internet cards which can be used for your ceremony regardless of outside internet connection.
How do I invite or share my wedding broadcast with friends and family?
We will send out e-invites to all those that you wish to have in online attendance. We also provide you with an embedded or online link for social media that allows guests to be directly linked to your viewing page if you choose to share it. However, you will have the option of password protection to ensure that only your invited 'guests' will be able to view.
Will viewers need special software to view wedding?
NO! All they will need is a computer, tablet or smart phone, the link to the viewing, and your viewing password (if you choose to have one). After that, they're all set!
Will my wedding be available online?
Yes. We will archive your ceremony for 30 days, which is complimentary in every package. If you need further online viewing time, add-on options are available in our a la cart menu.
What do I need for the DIY package?
If you and your loved one have selected the Do-it-Yourself package, all you need to broadcast live is a video capable cell phone/iPad, computer, or personal video camera. Other video options may work so please ask if you have questions! We provide the broadcast box needed to go live by purchasing the DIY package and will walk you through the streaming process.
Who can watch my wedding and/or reception? How many guest viewers can participate?
Family or friends throughout the world can watch your special day at the exact same time! You can have unlimited viewers for any package you choose.
What areas do you serve?
Currently we are servicing all of Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee, but we have no travel limitations for a wedding or event, so contact us now to discuss your location and needs. Out of country travel is no issue but travel costs & expenses of our technician(s) must be covered.
How soon should I reserve a date?
We recommend contacting us as soon as you know you’re interested in our services. Even if it’s just to feel it out, we don't bite! We do not have a short notice fee of any sort, so if we are available and your wedding is the next day, we will be there! Early booking is encouraged to make sure that technician(s) will be available on your date.
What types of payment options do I have?
Live Wedding Caster accepts all forms of payment. We do accept personal checks, however, if the check is to bounce, you will be legally responsible for the full payment as well as the bounced check fee. A 5% interest will begin to incur the day the check bounces.
When are my payments due?
You will be required to provide a down payment of 50% upon agreement, with the remaining 50% due no later than two weeks prior to your scheduled wedding date.
We have to cancel our wedding, what now?
It’s very unfortunate, but we do understand that things happen. You will be refunded for 90% of the money paid at time of cancellation, as there is a cancellation fee of 10%. If cancelled the day of and travel has occurred, travel expenses will not be reimbursed. Again, we regret to hear of the situation.
Can we reschedule for a different date?
Yes, as long as we are available for the date needed. We do charge a $50 rescheduling fee. If your new date is unavailable, we guarantee the return of 90% of money spent, as the other 10% will be used to cover administrative costs.
Should I hire a videographer?
If you are looking for an artistic video or highlight reel etc. (as some videographers specialize in creating a story from your wedding), then you may want to hire a wedding videographer. They are able to catch optimal angles and shots that our still/panning cameras cannot, due to the fact that the streaming needs to be steady and we cannot be walking around. Your finished DVD will still be a high-resolution, professionally edited disc with added graphics and menu. However, for an additional charge, we can have an extra videographer capture "day of" footage, allowing us to create a highlight reel.
